WATER SPORTS Jamaica’s waters offer exceptional visibility and water temperatures above 80 F year round. Negril, on the west coast is a favorite spot with a diverse reef system, coral, cliffs and caves. There are air-craft and ship wrecks. All the favorite stars are on the show: moray, eels, grunts, barracuda, stingrays, turtles, nurse sharks, and an impressive array of hard and soft coral formations. Visibility often exceeds 100 feet. Courses for the beginners are offered and usually take a few hours.
